Welcome to the home of Shields Fleet One, the oldest and one of the most active Shields fleets in the country. For over 60 years we are proud to continue the tradition set by Cornelius Shields, when he commissioned Sparkman and Stephens to design a one-design yacht that would bring out the best in every sailors ability. With over 15 boats in the fleet we continue that legacy by promoting and organizing Corinthian racing on Western Long Island Sound. Our races are on Saturday afternoons from early May through October, alongside a series of regattas throughout the season. We also organize Friday night casual sailing for new members to experience the fleet. We hope you can join us.
